Your Body and Skin Knead More Attention

Letter From The Founder

Dear Urban Squeeze Community,

I began practicing skin care in 2005, in 2008 I welcomed my first child, It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago, but at the time the esthetics industry was just starting to build momentum.  Continuing my education during my maturnity leave, I obtained my Associates Degree in A&P and put myself through massage school.

Urban Squeeze opened in 2013, in a small single provider office. This is truly where the beginning started. I worked my bum off, I was making about $8/ massage I provided after all of my expenses. There was a lot of hustle in the beginning I worked a full time job while building Urban Squeeze on the side until I felt officially ready to take my leap of faith and dive full time into being the operational owner. I did that until 2017 when we expanded into three treatments rooms which is where the Urban Squeeze Team began to take shape. In the beginning our reputation was just starting to build so it was a learning curve to see the culture in which we were seeking to build.

Today, when selecting staff, we work hard to find individuals that blend with our culture who carry similar mindfullness. We believe that self care is a component of health care. Not only is self care a way to boost your immune system but it can also improve mental health as well.  We work to ensure that every guest experience is one of a unique blend of individual therapeutic techniques within the relaxing environment of a gorgeous spa like setting. I recognize that we are all unique in our own ways and we need individualized experiences. Therefore, in 2021 we rolled out our Wellness Concept- you simply visit us for a consultation where we dig deep to help you achieve your long term wellness goals. We then customize a wellness program designed for your needs, which can include a wide variety of our many service offerings, such as Cyroskin, Himalayan salt stone massage, sinus drainage facial, etc. However, we also offer all of our services a la carte so you can come in when it is convenient for you.

Our goal at Urban Squeeze Wellness Collective is to ensure your journey is a unique and an individualized experience and a relaxing escape.

Wishing you all the best,

Rachael

Rachael and her staff run a top notch business. Very professional and excellent service. I’ve been a client now for 4+ months and can’t say enough about how relaxing and comfortable they make you feel. Each massage I’ve had left my muscles in a better place and my mind & body reset and recharged to tackle the day-to-day stresses I face. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

Chiropractor

I was born and raised in a small Canadian town in southern Ontario. Early on in life I developed a passion for many things including sports, school, and family. It is these three things that have helped me become the passionate person I am today.

I was not introduced to Chiropractic until my late teens. I was playing junior hockey in Ontario and our team had their own chiropractor on staff, Dr. Steve. It was then where my love for chiropractic was born! Dr. Steve helped me recover from and avoid numerous injuries in the last few years of my hockey career. Chiropractic care allowed my body to heal itself in ways I had never seen before. How could something so powerful and effective have been missing from my life for so long?
With both of my older siblings being doctors, I knew I wanted to help people and make a difference in their lives; it’s how our parents raised us. After my hockey playing days, I graduated from Oakland University with a degree in Health Sciences. While at OU, I was fortunate enough to intern with the great Strength & Conditioning coaches for OU Athletics. Organizing, implementing and monitoring workout regiments with D1 athletes was a great experience that paved the road for my passion for Chiropractic and the movement of the human body. In 2012, I enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic-Florida campus. Throughout my time at Palmer I gained a vast amount of knowledge, built lifelong friendships with my classmates and graduated in 2015 with a doctorate of chiropractic.

I moved to Colorado in 2015 where my knowledge continued to grow as I interned and associated under two great Chiropractors and mentors. Treating a variety of patients ranging from pediatrics and infants to collegiate and professional athletes to weekend warriors and geriatric population helped me establish my own effective treatment style.
Outside of the office my love for the human body continues as I also teach Anatomy & Physiology within the Colorado Community College system. When I am not practicing or teaching, you can find me hiking on a trail or fishing in a stream and exploring all the beauty Colorado has to offer.
